before Microsoft, before IBM, Before HP
before DEC, Tandem, Honeywell, Burroughs
before World War 2 and World War 1
before the French Revolution, the American Revolution, before Cromwell
before the Ching, the Ming, before Confucius and the Chin
before the Moguls,  before Buddha
before the Greeks, the Egyptians, Phoenicians

We have had human-to-human H2H connections - gesturing, talking, exchanging, quarreling, hugging, thinking and imagining together. Forming tribes, kingdoms and countries together. Getting excited, working on things together that are bigger than ourselves.

Jeremiah Owyang gave a great talk at the Social ShakeUp in Atlanta on Sept 17 about H2H, the sharing economy, the collaboration economy, the participation economy. He asks:

 "What role do corporations play if people get what they need from each other? How can big companies benefit from crowd-based business models in the Maker Movement, Crowdfunding, and Sharing Economy? We call this the Collaborative Economy, an economic model in which creation, ownership, and access are shared between people and corporations. "
